Hanseok Seo, the new CEO of SeAH Besteel [provided by SeAH Besteel]

 

[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Jisun] On the 8th, SeAH Besteel announced the appointment of Seo Han-seok as its new CEO. Seo, who joined SeAH Besteel in 1990, has held various positions including executive in charge of steelmaking, head of large forging production division, and director of production planning. 

 

In addition to Seo's appointment, Hong Sang-beom was appointed as the head of management overseeing operations, and Hong Seong-won as the manager of the Gunsan plant.

A SeAH Besteel spokesperson stated, "Based on new leadership, we will create a safe workplace where employees can work with peace of mind," and added, "Despite challenges such as downturns in the front-end industries and global economic slowdown, we will strive for sustained growth through concerted efforts between labor and management."
