[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Health authorities have launched a recall measure after more bacteria were detected than standard in the "Hatban" abalone porridge products made and sold by CJ CheilJedang.
The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety announced on the 19th that "Hatban soft wheat abalone porridge" manufactured by CJ CheilJedang (Jincheon, North Chungcheong Province) has been confirmed to be non-compliance with the standard based on bacterial water, and that it will stop selling the products and collect them.
The date of recall is September 19, 2023, and the expiration date is June 18, 2024.
The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety ordered local governments to recall the product and urged consumers who purchased the product to stop eating and return it to the place of purchase.
