[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] A series of deaths occurred at the Okpo Shipyard in Geoje, South Gyeongsang Province, Hanwha Ocean.
According to the shipbuilding industry on the 26th, a worker in his 30s belonging to an outside partner who was diving at Hanwha Ocean's Okpo shipyard in Geoje, South Gyeongsang Province, was found unconscious at around 4:15 p.m. on the 24th.
A was later taken to a hospital but eventually died.
In Hanwha Ocean, B, a subcontractor in his 20s who was working on a ship block grinder (changing the surface), died in an explosion on the 12th.
On this day, Hanwha Ocean conducted its own special safety and health education to eradicate serious accidents and began to stop production.
The company plans to disclose the production business date as soon as it is confirmed.
