According to Shinhan Card on the 29th, errors occurred in some payment systems, including simple payments such as real check cards and Samsung Pay, and online payments, from 9:08 p.m. on the 26th. The real credit card was paid normally.
On the same day, the app card through Shinhan SOL Pay had a payment error with the phrase "I'm sorry for the delay."
Shinhan Card has 14 million members, the largest number in the domestic industry.
It is the second time since last year that Shinhan Card's payment network has been paralyzed. Previously, customers suffered inconveniences due to errors in Shinhan Card's online and offline payments and simple payments for four hours from 8 p.m. to midnight on Sept. 29 last year. At that time, Shinhan Card explained that the payment storage server that stores approval information had a problem.
