Worker dies after being hit by a commuter bus in front of Samsung Semiconductor factory in Pyeongtaek

[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] A worker in his 20s was hit and killed by a commuter bus while crossing a crosswalk at the Godeok Cathedral intersection in front of Samsung Electronics' semiconductor plant in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province, at around 5:30 a.m. on the 29th.
The accident occurred when A, a worker at a new Samsung semiconductor plant, ran on-site workers into a chartered bus passing by here while crossing a crosswalk on a kickboard.
Fire authorities were dispatched shortly after the accident and took the unconscious man to the hospital with CPR, but he eventually died.
The police are investigating the details of the accident.
