[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Hyundai Rotem made an announcement on the 29th that it has been selected as the final bidder for the "LA Metro Train Supply Project" by the Los Angeles County Transportation Bureau in California. 

 

The business size is 663.69 million dollars (about 868.8 billion won).

Hyundai Rotem earlier received a letter of intent from the Los Angeles County Transportation Bureau on Nov. 10 last year (local time) to notify it of the successful bid for the train supply project. After consulting on the contract, it was finally selected as the operator on the same day.
