[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] HD Hyundai Marine Solutions, a comprehensive solution company in the marine industry of HD Hyundai, will commercialize 'Ocean Wise', an artificial intelligence (AI)-based carbon emission monitoring system.

The 'digital twin' technology, which replicates reality in digital space, is a system that can check carbon emissions due to operating routes, weather and tide changes by implementing ships in virtual space.

HD Hyundai Marine Solutions announced on the 1st that it has signed an Ocean Wise commercial supply contract with POSCO for the first time. POSCO will apply the service to dry goods ships operated to introduce raw materials such as iron ore and coal.
