[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Toss selected the organizer of the Initial Public Offering (IPO) and began preparing to be listed.

According to the information technology (IT) and financial investment industry on the 2nd, Viva Republica (Toss), which operates mobile financial service Toss, selected Korea Investment & Securities and Mirae Asset Securities as representative organizers and Samsung Securities as co-hosts.

Toss received a proposal for listing bidding (RFP) from major securities firms at home and abroad on the 9th and conducted a competitive presentation (PT) for companies that applied on the 17th.

Korea Investment & Securities Co. and Mirae Asset Securities Co., which were selected as the leading organizers, are the top two companies in terms of IPO performance as of 2022, respectively.

Currently, Toss is undecided on the specific listing schedule, but the industry expects to push for the listing next year.
