[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Regarding foreign media reports that Hyundai Motor's Indian subsidiary is considering listing there later this year, Hyundai Motor said on the 7th, "Nothing has been confirmed so far."
Hyundai Motor added later in the day, "We will re-publicize it within a month or when it is confirmed."
Earlier, on the 5th, foreign media reported, citing local sources, that Hyundai Motor Company's Indian subsidiary was in early stage negotiations for an initial public offering (IPO) at the end of this year.
Through this, Hyundai Motor is said to have a corporate value of $25 billion to $30 billion (about 33.34 trillion won to 40 trillion won) and plans to list some of its stocks and raise at least $3 billion (about 4 trillion won) in the stock market.
