[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] According to the telecommunications industry on the 14th, the two companies are preparing a 5G plan to create a minimum of 30,000 won section.
Currently, the details and exact timing of the two companies' reorganization plans have not been disclosed, but they are expected to be similar to the reorganization of the small-section 5G rate plan unveiled by KT in January.
KT unveiled a monthly plan of 30,000 won, which provides 4 gigabytes (GB) of capacity last month. At the same time, plans under 30GB have been subdivided from two to five. Starting this month, the available capacity of existing 5GB and 10GB plan users has been slightly raised to 7GB and 14GB, respectively.
SK Telecom set the standard for the youth plan at 34 last year, and LG Uplus, which previously provided the youth plan until the age of 29, is expected to expand accordingly.
