[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Seoul's Jongno Police Station launched an investigation after Chung Mong-kyu (photo), president of the Korea Football Association, was accused by civic groups of unilaterally appointing Jurgen Klinsmann football team coach.
The Jongno Police Station said on the 19th that it has launched an investigation into Chung on charges of coercion, obstruction of business and breach of trust after receiving dividends from the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency.
Earlier, the People's Livelihood Committee filed a complaint against Chairman Chung on the 13th on charges of obstruction of business, saying he unilaterally pushed ahead with the appointment of the Klinsmann director.
