Wemade signs a publishing contract for ‘Mir 4’ with Chinese game company

[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Wemade announced on the 22st that it has signed a Chinese publishing contract for "Mir 4" with Chinese game company 37 Games.
Founded in 2011, 37 Games is a game company with more than 650 million members worldwide. Headquartered in Guangzhou, China, it represents China along with Tencent and NetEase.
Mir 4, which launched the Korean service in November 2020, released its global version in more than 170 countries in August 2021, recording the highest number of 1.4 million simultaneous users.
Mir 4 is a game set in the world 500 years later in the "The Legend of Mir 2" story, which was released in China in 2001 and gained huge popularity.
Under this contract, Wemade will present an official sequel that inherited the originality and history as the original copyright holder of the "The Legend of Mir 2" IP (Intellectual Property Rights) to Chinese users for the first time in 23 years.
