[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] The Korea Development Bank, the main creditor of Taeyoung Construction, will provide 400 billion won in new funds.
The state-run Korea Development Bank said the bill for the second financial creditors' meeting, which was submitted on the 15th, was met with more than 75 percent of financial creditors' approval as of 6 p.m.
With all the bills approved, creditors will push to provide KRW 400 billion worth of limited loans to Taeyoung Construction. Until the establishment of the corporate improvement plan, it is intended to respond to Taeyoung Construction's insufficient funds and support its business activities.
The repayment of the discount was also decided. Taeyoung Construction's KRW 45.1 billion foreign loan was repaid immediately, allowing its partners to secure liquidity.
