Meta's CEO Mark Zuckerberg met with Chairman Lee Jae-yong to discuss the AI semiconductor and XR business

[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Mark Zuckerberg Meta CEO, who visited Korea, met with Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong on the 28th. The two reportedly discussed ways to cooperate with artificial intelligence (AI) semiconductors and mixed reality (XR) businesses.
CEO Mark Zuckerberg had dinner with Chairman Lee at Seungjiwon, a guest house of Samsung Group in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, this afternoon.
Previously, Zuckerberg CEO had a dinner meeting with Chairman Lee (then vice chairman) when he visited Korea in October 2014 and visited Samsung Electronics' Suwon headquarters and Hwaseong campus.
Since then, both companies have collaborated to launch 'Gear VR', a virtual reality (VR) headset.
