[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Jisun] Doosan Bobcat has successfully entered the top 10 in the global construction machinery market for the first time.

According to the "2023 Construction Machinery Company Rankings (Yellow Table)" published by the British construction information group KHL on the 12th, Doosan Bobcat ranked 10th with a market share of 3.1%. The company climbed one spot from the previous year, and its market share increased by 0.2 percentage points. Doosan Bobcat is the first single domestic company to make it into the top 10 in the global construction machinery market.

Before the Doosan Group sold Doosan Infracore (currently HD Hyundai Infracore), the combined market share of Doosan Bobcat and Doosan Infracore ranked 6th in the world. However, after selling Doosan Infracore in 2021, Doosan Bobcat's individual market share dropped to 14th place. It climbed to 11th in 2022 and reached 10th last year.

The North American region accounts for over 70% of Doosan Bobcat's total sales.
