[Alpha Biz= Reporter Paul Lee] On the 13th, HYBE refuted a report by a media outlet regarding the 'NewJeans parent email,' stating that "the email itself, purportedly sent by parents, was actually authored by representatives L and Min, not the parents."
Earlier that day, The Daily Sports reported based on the content of an email sent to HYBE, allegedly from parents of NewJeans, that "ADOR raised an internal complaint on April 16, requesting HYBE to stop obstructing NewJeans and to practice ethical management."
In response, HYBE immediately pushed back, stating, "We would like to clarify regarding the email allegedly sent by NewJeans parents to our company." They continued, "We received the email on April 3 and already responded on April 16, explaining that it was not plagiarism. The claim that the ADOR incident originated from 'being ignored in personnel matters' is a unilateral assertion and not factual."
HYBE further expressed, "We deeply regret that Mr. Min involves artists and their families in his fight for his own interests."
