SK Group Sells Part of Its Stake in Vietnam's VinCommerce, Secures 270 Billion Won

[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Jisun] SK Group has sold a portion of its stake in VinCommerce, Vietnam's largest food and beverage and retail company, securing approximately 270 billion won.
According to industry sources on the 4th, SK Inc. sold part of its stake in VinCommerce, a subsidiary of Vietnam's second-largest conglomerate, Masan Group, for around 270 billion won. Masan Group announced in a press release that it repurchased the stake from SK to strengthen its long-term competitiveness.
SK Group initially acquired a 16.3% stake in VinCommerce from Masan Group for 460 billion won in 2021. After approximately three years, SK has partially sold the stake, realizing investment returns, while retaining the remaining shares to continue their cooperative relationship.
