[Alpha Biz= Kim Jisun] On May 21, the Korea Exchange (KRX) issued a disclosure inquiry to Samsung Biologics (KRX: 207940) regarding rumors of a potential spin-off. The company has been asked to respond by 12:00 p.m. KST on May 22.



This request follows unverified information circulating earlier in the day via social media platforms, which quickly gained traction in the media. The reports suggested that Samsung Biologics is considering a spin-off plan that could involve the establishment of a new entity tentatively named Samsung Bio Holdings.



Samsung Biologics has reportedly responded that no decision has been made regarding the matter, indicating that the rumor remains unconfirmed as of now.
