[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Jisun] Hansei Industrial announced on the 24th that it has acquired Texollini, a leading U.S. textile manufacturer.

Founded in 1989, Texollini specializes in synthetic fibers, offering capabilities in fabric production, dyeing, printing, finishing, design, and research and development. Its major clients include well-known brands such as New Balance, Champion, and Patagonia.

With this acquisition, Hansei aims to enhance its synthetic fiber production capabilities and respond to the growing trend of nearshoring (relocating production closer to the U.S.) in the Latin American region. Texollini's factory, located in Long Beach, California, is strategically positioned with easy access to major transportation networks, including highways, maritime routes, air transport, and railroads.

Hansei plans to leverage Texollini's expertise in synthetic fiber development to expand its product offerings, including activewear, underwear, and swimwear.
