[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Sangjin] Asiana Airlines to Fully Terminate Mileage Partnership Services with Other Companies on September 10th

According to industry sources on the 15th, Asiana Airlines has decided to terminate its partnership agreements with all seven existing partners, including E-Mart, CGV, Sonohotel & Resort, Everland, Caribbean Bay, Modetour, and Weekly Deals.

An Asiana official stated, "We will make every effort to minimize inconvenience caused by the termination of partnerships" and explained, "We plan to unify the sources for mileage usage in the future, but specific items and sales methods have not yet been determined."

Currently, E-Mart offers benefits such as deducting 2,800 miles and providing a 20,000 won discount on purchases over 70,000 won for Asiana members, or earning 1 mile for every 3,000 won spent.

E-Mart was the first domestic large mart to introduce airline partnership benefits in 2016, but it will end the partnership after eight years.

Sonohotel & Resort has been providing services since 2022, deducting over 13,000 miles per night and earning 500 miles per stay, but the partnership will end after two years.

Until September 9th, the day before the termination of Asiana's mileage partnerships, both mileage accrual and usage will continue as usual. Refunds for cancelled mileage usage payments can be processed until October 31st.
