According to the Financial Supervisory Service, domestic credit card companies, including Shinhan, Samsung, Hyundai, KB Kookmin, Lotte, Hana, Woori, and BC Card, earned a total of 1.1869 trillion won from card loans in the first quarter of this year. This figure represents a 9.1% increase compared to the same period last year.
Card loans are a type of loan where credit card companies lend money to customers based on their creditworthiness. Unlike general credit loans, card loans do not require collateral, guarantees, or extensive documentation, making them a convenient option for individuals in urgent need of funds.
