[Alpha Biz= Reporter Paul Lee] Hanmi Science, the holding company of Hanmi Group, announced on the 19th that it recruited Roh Yong-kap (65, photo), former president of Hanmi Pharmaceutical, as vice chairman.

The new vice chairman Roh, who graduated from the department of trade at Hanyang University, joined Hanmi Pharm in 1996 after serving as director of sales marketing at Daewoong Pharm and director of sales marketing at MSD Korea, and served as CEO of Hanmi Medical Care and president of sales marketing at Hanmi Pharm. Since then, he has been an advisor to Hanmi Science until last year.

"Vice Chairman Roh's leadership, which has developed his capabilities in areas such as sales and marketing, could contribute to creating and upgrading the group's future growth engines," Hanmi Science said.
