[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Minyoung] CJ Olive Young announced on August 8 that it will begin trial operations of its new logistics center in Anseong, Gyeonggi Province. The facility spans 33,000 square meters (about 10,000 pyeong), making it the second largest after the "Integrated Logistics Center" built in Yongin in 2019.
The Anseong center will handle logistics for Olive Young's global mall (direct purchase mall), as well as its own brands such as Bioheal Bo and Wake Make. It will serve as a hub, integrating the functions previously dispersed across three locations in the metropolitan area to maximize synergy and operational efficiency. The center will feature dedicated areas for the global mall, with customized shipping equipment for international carriers like DHL, ensuring smooth delivery services even during high-demand periods such as Black Friday.
Olive Young aims to leverage the new Anseong center to proactively respond to global demand for K-beauty and to serve as an export bridge for small and medium-sized brands.
