[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] The contract period between Aliexpress and CJ Logistics, a local logistics trustee, will end next month.

According to Seoul Economic Daily on the 11th, the logistics consignment contract between Ali and CJ Logistics will end at the end of April. Ali is under consignment contract for both customs and courier services in connection with overseas direct purchases, and CJ Logistics is currently in charge of some of the customs clearance and all of the courier services. It is not known what Ali will do with the additional contract in the future.

The extension of the exclusive contract this year is expected to increase the volume to 50 million boxes.
