Kumho Petrochemical to Cancel 50 Billion Won of Treasury Shares

[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Jisun] Kumho Petrochemical announced on September 12 that it will cancel 50 billion won worth of its treasury shares. The cancellation is scheduled for September 25, and will involve the disposal of 338,092 common shares.
The company stated that the decision to cancel the shares is part of its efforts to enhance shareholder value.
Earlier this year, Kumho Petrochemical resolved at its annual general meeting in March to gradually cancel 50% of its treasury shares over the next three years.
