[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Jisun] On the 4th, Doosan Tesna announced plans to construct the "Pyeongtaek 2nd Factory" within the Brain City Industrial Complex in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province. This new facility will cover a spacious 48,000 square meters, larger than the combined area of their three existing factories in Pyeongtaek and Anseong from last year.
Initially, Doosan Tesna will invest 220 billion won to build a factory and cleanroom spanning 15,870 square meters. Construction is set to commence within this year and scheduled for completion by the first half of 2027. Future expansion plans will be phased according to the need for additional capacity.
