[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Sangjin] Hanwha Systems announced on the 9th that it will supply the Multi-Function Radar (MFR) for the MSAM-II (Cheongung-II), a mid-range surface-to-air missile system that Saudi Arabia decided to acquire in February.
Hanwha Systems disclosed that it signed a production contract worth approximately 1.2 trillion won with LIG Nex1 for the "SA-MSAM project MFR sector." Earlier, in February, Saudi Arabia had signed a $3.2 billion (approximately 4.2512 trillion won) export contract for the Cheongung-II with LIG Nex1.
