Busan Southern Police Department Investigates Sexual Misconduct Allegations Against HUG Executive

[Alpha Biz= Paul Lee] The Busan Southern Police Department announced on the 25th that it has received a referral for an investigation into sexual misconduct allegations involving an executive at the Korea Housing & Urban Guarantee Corporation (HUG).



According to HUG, the executive, identified as A, was removed from his position on the 21st due to the allegations of sexual misconduct.



HUG stated that it immediately reported the matter to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport, as well as the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, and notified the investigative authorities in accordance with relevant laws.



A HUG representative emphasized, "Once the investigation results from the higher authorities and the police are finalized, we will respond strictly according to the findings."
