[Alpha Biz= Kim Jisun] SK Group's Chairman Chey Tae-won, along with top executives and CEOs, will visit the world's largest consumer electronics and IT exhibition, CES 2025, held in Las Vegas from January 7-10 (local time). They are expected to explore the latest trends, including artificial intelligence (AI), and focus on identifying future business opportunities while strengthening their networks with leading global IT companies.
According to industry sources on Sunday, Chairman Chey will attend the CES exhibition for the third consecutive year, following 2023 and 2024. SK hynix CEO Kwak Noh-jung, AI Infrastructure President Kim Ju-seon, Chief Development Officer Ahn Hyun, and SK Telecom CEO Yoo Young-sang will join him.
With a strong focus on enhancing its AI business competitiveness, Chairman Chey is expected to explore global technology trends and meet with top executives of AI companies during the CES event. There is also keen interest in whether Chey will meet Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, who will be delivering the keynote address at CES for the first time in eight years.
At this year's CES, SK Group will feature a 1,950 square-meter booth under the theme "Creating a Sustainable Future with Innovative AI Technologies," showcasing collaborative exhibits from SK Telecom, SK hynix, SKC, and SK Enmove. SK hynix will present samples of its fifth-generation HBM, the HBM3E 16-layer product, along with the 122TB D5-P5336 product developed by its subsidiary Solidigm in November last year.
