[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Jisun] Com2uS announced on the 2nd that its newly launched AI-driven urban fantasy RPG, Starseed: Asnia Trigger (hereafter Starseed), has claimed the top spot on Thailand’s Google Play Store’s popular games chart.
According to Com2uS, Starseed achieved this milestone just a day after its global release on November 28th at 10 a.m. (Korean time). By November 29th, it ranked first in popularity on Thailand’s Google Play Store and second on both Taiwan’s Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
The game has also secured a spot in the top 10 RPG rankings on Apple's platform across eight regions, including Thailand, Taiwan, and Singapore. Within the strategy game genre, it reached first place in Thailand, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, while landing in the top 10 in five regions, including Singapore and Vietnam.
Starseed is developed by Joycity and serviced by Com2uS. Players dive into a virtual world alongside AI companions called "Proxians" to fight against impending doom. The game’s charming anime-style characters and user-friendly combat mechanics have been well-received in the global market.
Com2uS plans to showcase diverse content featuring the Proxians on its official YouTube channel and will continue rolling out various events and promotions to engage players worldwide.
