Lee Jae-myung Leads Hypothetical Three-Way Presidential Race with Over 50% Support: Poll

[Alpha Biz= Kim Jisun] A recent poll released on May 11 shows Lee Jae-myung of the Democratic Party of Korea leading a hypothetical three-way race for the next presidential election, garnering over 50% support.



According to a Realmeter survey commissioned by Energy Economy News and conducted from May 7 to 9 among 1,508 voters aged 18 and older nationwide, Lee secured 52.1% of support. The poll has a margin of error of ±2.5 percentage points at a 95% confidence level.



Kim Moon-soo of the People Power Party came in second with 31.1%, followed by Lee Jun-seok of the Reform Party with 6.3%.



In a previous poll featuring the same candidates, Lee Jae-myung received 46.6%, Kim 27.8%, and Lee Jun-seok 7.5%, indicating a rise in support for both Lee and Kim, and a slight dip for Lee Jun-seok.



The survey was conducted entirely via automated response calls to mobile phones, with a response rate of 6.7%. Further details are available on the website of the National Election Survey Deliberation Commission.
