[Alpha Biz= Kim Jisun] Nexen Tire (KRX: 002350) announced on May 28 that it will supply its new car tire, the ‘N’FERA Supreme S,’ for Kia’s (KRX: 000270) first electric sedan, the Kia EV4.
The tire features a newly designed tread pattern that meets the high torque and quietness demands unique to electric vehicles while enhancing handling precision.
Nexen Tire described the N’FERA Supreme S as a premium all-season tire that delivers both high performance and comfort. The tire provides balanced performance with consistent quietness and braking power across various driving conditions, making it suitable for both high-speed and everyday driving.
By supplying tires for the EV4, Nexen Tire now provides original equipment tires for the entire Kia electric vehicle lineup, demonstrating its product competitiveness. Nexen Tire emphasized that it supplies the largest number of original equipment tires for domestically produced electric vehicles among Korean tire manufacturers and plans to expand its supply of dedicated tires for global electric vehicle brands in the future.
