[Alpha Biz= Kim Jisun] Yoon Sang-hyun, Vice Chairman of Kolmar Holdings, and his younger sister Yoon Yeo-won, CEO of Kolmar BNH, continued their dispute over management rights in court, each presenting opposing arguments.

On July 2, the Daejeon District Court’s 21st Civil Division (Presiding Judge Kim Soon-han) held a hearing on an injunction filed by CEO Yoon Yeo-won against her brother, Vice Chairman Yoon Sang-hyun, to prevent alleged illegal actions.

The legal representatives of both parties were present at the hearing, but key figures including Kolmar Group Chairman Yoon Dong-han, Vice Chairman Yoon Sang-hyun, and CEO Yoon Yeo-won did not attend.

The conflict began in April when Vice Chairman Yoon demanded that himself and former CJ CheilJedang Executive Vice President Lee Seung-hwa be appointed as internal directors of Kolmar BNH, citing poor company performance. When CEO Yoon refused the request, Vice Chairman Yoon filed a lawsuit seeking approval to convene an extraordinary shareholders’ meeting to restructure the board.

In response, CEO Yoon and Chairman Yoon Dong-han filed for an injunction, claiming that Vice Chairman Yoon had violated a prior management agreement.
