[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Power supply resumed in a week at Tesla's German plant, which was blacked out due to a fire at a nearby power transmission tower.

Power supplier Edith said it connected Tesla's plant and logistics center to its power grid at 8:45 p.m. on the 11th (local time) and later recovered electricity.

Tesla's German plant outside Berlin was cut off from electricity shortly after a fire broke out at a nearby power transmission tower at 5:15 a.m. on the 5th.

Tesla had originally expected electricity to come back on the 17th.

Tesla expects vehicle production to normalize step by step. A German plant spokesman told rbb, "It is still difficult to say how long it will take for production to resume completely."

Tesla expects to lose hundreds of billions of won due to the plant shutdown.
