[Alpha Biz= Kim Jisun] LG Life & Health deleted a post made by an influencer after some male community users raised issues about it. The post was seen as problematic after the influencer, who had previously made controversial statements, shared a promotional message for the company’s product.

The influencer had previously said, "Men who are around 160 cm should not even try to get introduced to women," which sparked controversy. Following this revelation, criticism flooded the brand's social media account, which led to a sharp decline in followers, from around 70,000 to just over 40,000.

LG Life & Health clarified that it had apologized for the issue and explained that the apology addressed the influencer's past remarks, which were described as 'misogynistic'. The company also expressed regret for causing discomfort to its customers and promised to pay more attention to future communication strategies.
