Hanwha Precision Machinery announced on January 1 that it has appointed Kim Jae-hyun, head of the New Business Promotion Office at Hanwha Momentum, as its new CEO. This marks the replacement of Lee Seong-su, the current CEO, who will step down after one year in the role.

Kim, a veteran in the semiconductor sector with over 30 years of experience, holds a degree in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering from Seoul National University and a master's and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from MIT.
