[Alpha Biz= Kim Sangjin] Amorepacific will raise the prices of its products starting in the new year.
According to Amorepacific on Thursday, the company plans to renew three key products from its flagship brand, Sulwhasoo—Ja Eum Su, Ja Eum Yu Yeok, and Tension Cream—and adjust their prices upward in March.
Currently, the prices for these products are 68,000 KRW for Ja Eum Su, 72,000 KRW for Ja Eum Yu Yeok, and 135,000 KRW for Tension Cream. Although the exact rate of increase has not yet been confirmed, it is expected to be around 6-8%.
An Amorepacific representative stated, "The price increase comes as we are renewing these products," and added, "The final prices have not yet been determined."
Earlier, Amorepacific's subsidiary Etude also raised the price of its eyeshadow product, Look At My Eyes, from 5,500 KRW to 6,000 KRW, a 500 KRW increase.
