[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Jisun] Kim Dong-rae, CEO of drama production company RaemongRaein, has filed a fraud complaint against actor Lee Jung-jae, who is embroiled in a management dispute with him. The complaint, which was filed in June with the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul, accuses Lee and former WIGS Studio CEO Park In-kyu of fraud under the Specific Economic Crimes Act.

Kim alleges that Lee’s side failed to fulfill promises made after acquiring management rights, including taking over the management division of a major domestic entertainment company and securing investment from an American entertainment agency.

In response, Artist United, a software development company where Lee Jung-jae is the largest shareholder, denied the accusations. The company argued that there was no agreement for joint management with Kim and that the acquisition of RaemongRaein and related growth plans were not prerequisites for the investment.

Artist United also countered with their own complaint against Kim for false accusations and fraud, filing it last month with the Seocho Police Station in Seoul.

RaemongRaein, established in 2007, is known for producing dramas such as "Sungkyunkwan Scandal" (2010) and "Reborn Rich" (2022) and was listed on the KOSDAQ market in 2021. Artist United acquired RaemongRaein in March through a capital increase and has since been involved in legal disputes over management rights.
