[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Jisun] LIG Nex1 has signed a contract with the Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) to supply "Hyungung" anti-tank guided missiles worth 144 billion won. On the 25th, LIG Nex1 announced that it had signed a contract with DAPA for the delivery of Hyungung, valued at 144 billion won, with the contract period running from today until November 30, 2027.

Hyungung is the first domestically developed third-generation infantry medium-range anti-tank guided missile. It allows the operator to detect the thermal image of a tank, aim, and fire, with the missile autonomously tracking the target using infrared imaging.

On the same day, LIG Nex1 also announced that it had signed a contract with DAPA for the Blue Shark (lightweight torpedo) Performance-Based Logistics (PBL) support project. The contract amount is approximately 84 billion won, and the contract period extends from the previous day until June 14, 2029.
