[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Sangjin] The National Tax Service Initiates Tax Investigation on BHC Group, Operator of BHC Chicken
According to Newsis on the 19th, the Seoul Regional Tax Office is currently conducting a tax investigation at the BHC headquarters located in Songpa-gu, Seoul.
BHC is owned by Global Gourmet Services, whose largest shareholder (45%) is MBK Partners, the largest private equity firm in South Korea. In August 2021, BHC expanded its business by acquiring Outback Steakhouse Korea.
A BHC representative stated, "We understand this to be a routine periodic tax investigation," and added, "We are faithfully cooperating with the investigation."
