[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Jisun] L&F announced on the 11th that it signed a contract to supply cathode materials worth a total of KRW 9.2 trillion over 6 years with a European customer.
The amount of cathode materials supplied by L&F is 176,000 tons, and will be delivered over six years from January 2025 to December 2030. The cathode material is one of the key components of secondary batteries and accounts for more than 40% of the battery cost.
Among domestic cathode materials companies, L&F is the first to sign a contract with a European customer.
