[Alpha Biz= Kim Jisun] Naver announced on the 26th that it will terminate its free mobile website creation service, "Modoo," on June 26, 2025.

Launched in April 2015 as a beta service, Modoo has supported businesses in smoothly transitioning to mobile platforms by offering easy-to-use website creation tools during the mobile shift.

Regarding the service termination, Naver explained, "As the utilization of specialized platforms like Smart Place has increased, both businesses and users have been focusing more on these platforms." Naver added that it will discontinue Modoo and focus on enhancing specialized platforms to further support business growth.

Before the service ends, new sign-ups will be restricted starting January 16, 2025. From February 3, 2025, users will no longer be able to add new websites, but existing sites will remain operational until the termination date.

Naver stated, "We will continue to provide updates based on the progress and do our best during the remaining period."
