[Alpha Biz= Kim Jisun] Daehan Electric Wire has secured a supply contract for 400kV power transmission lines with Balfour Beatty, a global infrastructure group, for a project aimed at replacing the aging power grid in eastern United Kingdom. The estimated contract value is around 100 billion KRW (approximately 75 million USD).
With this latest order, Daehan Electric Wire reaffirms its competitive edge in the European market. This follows a similar achievement in December of last year, where Daehan Electric Wire won a project worth 110 billion KRW (approximately 84 million USD) for 420kV ultra-high voltage transmission lines in Sweden, in addition to the 400 billion KRW (approximately 300 million USD) 400kV ultra-high voltage transmission project in the UK.
