[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Jisun] Doosan Enerbility announced on the 4th that it plans to concentrate the approximately 1 trillion KRW in investment capacity, secured through the business restructuring process including the spin-off of Doosan Bobcat, on its nuclear power business.

On the same day, three companies—Doosan Enerbility, Doosan Bobcat, and Doosan Robotics—issued a shareholder letter signed by their CEOs, reaching out to communicate with shareholders. The letter will be sent starting on the 5th, when the list of shareholders eligible to attend the extraordinary general meeting is finalized, and has been made available on each company's website in advance.

Doosan Enerbility stated, "We plan to invest the approximately 1 trillion KRW in investment capacity that will be generated through the business restructuring, including the spin-off of Doosan Bobcat, into the nuclear power business."

In the letter, Doosan Enerbility CEO Park Sang-hyun explained, "We have set a goal to secure stable production facilities for more than four large-scale nuclear power plants annually over the next five years, and to expand facilities to produce up to 20 SMRs (Small Modular Reactors) per year."

Doosan Enerbility expects that upon completion of this business restructuring, which includes the spin-off of Doosan Bobcat, it will be able to reduce debt by 700 billion KRW and secure 500 billion KRW in cash through the disposal of non-operational assets. This capital will be invested in expanding nuclear power production.
