Naver's 2023 Revenue Hits Record High, Surpassing 10 Trillion Won

[Alpha Biz= Kim Jisun] According to securities firm earnings forecasts compiled by Yonhap Infomax on Sunday, Naver's total revenue for last year is expected to reach a record high of 10.65 trillion won, an increase of 10.15% compared to the previous year.

Naver's revenue for 2023 was 9.67 trillion won.

Operating profit for last year is expected to be 1.96 trillion won, up 31.97% year-on-year.

For the fourth quarter of last year, revenue is projected to have increased by 10.35% to 2.80 trillion won, while operating profit is expected to have risen by 30.42% to 528.8 billion won.

The highest revenue estimate for the fourth quarter is 2.99 trillion won, while the lowest estimate is 2.72 trillion won. Operating profit is expected to range between 551.4 billion and 500 billion won.

Naver will release its fourth-quarter earnings results in early February.

Naver has been on a record-setting earnings streak last year, driven by balanced growth across all its business sectors, including its platform.

In the previous quarter, Naver posted a 11.1% increase in revenue, reaching 2.72 trillion won, and operating profit rose 38.2% to 503.2 billion won, marking a new quarterly record.
