[Alpha Biz= Kim Jisun] Naver announced on Tuesday that it will participate in LEAP 2025, a global IT exhibition often referred to as the "CES of Saudi Arabia," to showcase AI, data centers, and cloud infrastructure tailored for the Saudi market.

LEAP 2025, the largest tech exhibition in the Middle East, is organized by the Saudi Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) and will take place in Riyadh from February 9 to 12. This year, the event is expected to host over 680 startups, 1,000 speakers, and 1,800 tech brands.

Last year, Team Naver participated in LEAP 2024, where it signed Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with Aramco Digital and Saudi Public Transport Company (SAPTCO). For this year’s event, Naver will focus on the theme "Naver’s AI for Saudi Arabia", presenting its AI value chain that connects data centers, cloud services, and AI.

A key highlight of Naver’s showcase is "Naver AI Value Chain for Preserving Digital Heritage." The company will emphasize the importance of developing sovereign AI to safeguard Saudi Arabia’s culture and identity. Drawing from its experience as the world's third company to develop a large language model (LLM) in its native language, Naver will propose an AI development approach that respects Saudi Arabia’s linguistic and cultural uniqueness.
