[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Jisun] On the 24th, Dongkook Pharmaceutical announced that it has acquired a 50.9% stake in Withnix, a developer and manufacturer of small household appliances including beauty devices, for 2.2 billion KRW.

Established in 2003, Withnix produces and distributes beauty devices and small household appliances, owning brands such as 'SAYSKIN' for beauty devices and 'Haimeshef' for dish sterilizers and dryers. Since 2019, the company has been exporting its products to Japan, Germany, Hong Kong, and other countries.

Building on the success of its derma-cosmetic brand 'Centellian24' launched in 2015, Dongkook Pharmaceutical expanded its business scope last year by introducing the beauty device 'Madeca Prime'.
