[Alpha Biz= Kim Jisun] KT&G announced on Thursday that it will voluntarily conduct a free replacement recall for its "lil SOLID 3.0" devices produced between August and November last year.
The recall decision was made after a heater pin detachment issue was discovered in some products manufactured during this period. Customers who purchased the affected devices can visit a "lil Minimalium" store, a dedicated lil brand shop, or an official lil service center to receive a free replacement. Alternatively, they can opt for a free delivery service to exchange their device for a properly functioning one.
Detailed information and procedures regarding the recall can be found on the official lil website, and additional guidance is available through the customer service center. KT&G has also temporarily halted sales of the lil SOLID 3.0 and plans to retrieve all previously distributed units.
