Hyosung Discusses Future Business Cooperation with Vietnamese Prime Minister

[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Minyoung] Hyosung Group Chairman Cho Hyun-joon and Vice Chairman Cho Hyun-sang of HS Hyosung Group met with Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh of Vietnam during their visit to discuss future business cooperation initiatives.

According to Hyosung on the 2nd, Chairman Cho met with Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh at Lotte Hotel in Seoul to discuss investments in Vietnam, including projects involving bio butanediol (BDO), carbon fibers, and other ventures. During the meeting, they also shared ideas for future businesses such as logistics centers, data centers, and renewable energy. Chairman Cho stated, "In order to fulfill our promise to open Hyosung's future in Vietnam for the next 100 years, we are expanding investments with the belief that Vietnam will become the center of our future businesses."

On the same day, Kim Ki-moon, the Chairman of the Small and Medium Business Corporation (SBC), also met with Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh to discuss current issues and economic cooperation between the two countries. Chairman Kim conveyed concerns related to enhancing competitiveness in materials, parts, and equipment industries, as well as addressing issues with visa issuance for Vietnamese resident representatives.

The discussions highlight Hyosung Group's commitment to expanding its footprint in Vietnam and fostering deeper economic ties between South Korea and Vietnam through strategic investments and cooperation initiatives.
