[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Jisun] The National Samsung Electronics Labor Union conducted its second group action since its establishment, demanding a change in attitude from the management and criticizing their lack of communication.

On the 24th at 1 p.m., the National Samsung Electronics Labor Union held a cultural event titled "Let's Go to Seocho on May 24th!" near the Samsung Electronics Seocho Building in Gangnam, Seoul. This marks their second group action following the first one at the Samsung Electronics plant in Hwaseong last month.

Chairman Son Woo-mok stated through a public announcement, "We, representing the 30,000 Samsung Electronics union members, have gathered your will to hold our first outdoor rally in front of the Seocho Building." He expressed his hope that Samsung Electronics would begin to change from this day forward and become a company that builds the future together with its employees.

Chairman Son criticized Vice Chairman Jay Y. Lee (head of the Business Support Task Force) during the event, accusing him of ignoring the union's demands. He emphasized that Vice Chairman Lee should engage directly in negotiations with the union and take responsibility instead of relying solely on powerless employees as shields.

The National Samsung Electronics Labor Union's stance is to demand fair and transparent payment of labor rewards. They advocate for transparent distribution of bonuses based on operating profit.
